@ The PokerStars.net APPT Macau: Asian Poker Open

The Asian Poker Open was a tremendous success. Thanks to Poker Stars and Galaxy Grand Waldo Casino for sponsoring and supporting this event. We exceeded our expectations with 352 players participating for the US $2,500 buy in main event and 64 high rollers buying in to the US $15,000 high roller events. We would also like to thank everyone for attending and playing our side events.

We must here congratulate Dinh Le for winning the first APO title and took home an astonishing US $222,640, Eric Assadourian for winning $368,640 for the high rollers event, and many others who cashed.

We look forward to growth of poker in Asia as a mainstream sport.
